WEATHER & TERROR CATASTROPHY

I remember when I was a kid, during late 1980’s there were not a blast of many channels. There was only one “Doordarshan” (India’s National Channel) and after the main news bulletin there was segment called “Mausam Ki Jankari” (a weather report) and very superficially the reader use to touch points on weather forecast, and the segment use to end with the forth coming days weather of main metro cities.
In today’s times the weather forecast has been upgraded and there is information even sometimes discussion on how the weather would react and affect people living in that particular area, if any unfavorable circumstances occur. Thanks to the advancement in technology and the immense hours of labor put by the Weather departments of respective countries.
Apart from the weather report, a similar terror report needs to be the mandate of current news bulletin after the statements given by India’s current Home Minister, Mr.Chidambaram –who ever have “perpetrated the attacks has worked in a very clandestine manner”, seems to suggest that he was hoping that terrorists would call him, announce their intent and target before the kill. Another statement from the so called would be Prime Minister of uprising young India, Mr.Rahul Gandhi said, “blasts happen everywhere”, as if it is some rainfall, occurring everywhere…..
So just imagine how the news bulletin will end-  It is not sure but a warning is given to all residents of xyz city… that carry umbrellas and get your insurance done, so that if today, you do not return home, because of a terror strike, your people can claim the insurance  benefit after your death. If bombs go off in a city and kill people, the survivors should be taking a break from their killing routine, pay tribute to the dead. That is the least the living can do for the departed. That, and perhaps a minute's observation of silence in public places. Because the government and the intelligence are completely helpless in fulfilling their duties.
