Discovering Leh-Ladak

The rugged, massive, cold-desert like terrain of the Leh-Ladakh range, lies between the Indus and Shyok river valley, in the Jammu-kashmir state. The sheer appearance is like Vajra, protecting India naturally from the mighty border of Xinjang China & the friendly neighbor Pakistan. Its immense-beauty leaves one breathless. No pun intended, you will be gasping for breath in that high, cold altitude. (Leh- altitude- 11,480 ft/3,500 meters) Strategically the ever-covered snow-peaked Siachen glaciers , with an altitude of 20,000ft and subzero temperatures through-out the year, can be viewed while in Leh, which is just 233 kms away; the highest battlefield in the World. Leh-Ladakh could be considered as an adventure tourism spot. It’s not every traveler’s dream destination.
