Pursuit of Happiness

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
-Words of Rudyard Kipling.

Following the words of Kipling, which are off-course the most powerful drug used by mankind, I set on his footsteps towards Pench. He wrote his Jungle book inspired by life, forests and groves of Pench.

The road to wilderness is breathtaking, the highway stretching from Jabalpur  to Turia gate is 186.4kms, which can be covered in a little less than 3.30 hrs. The National Park is under Madhya Pradesh jurisdiction but it shares its boundries with Nagpur, Maharashtra as well. Tourists coming to Mumbai can find an escape route to this woods, as bookings are well taken care by Tiger N Woods located at village Avargani Pench Tiger reserve.
 If you are a bird watcher or a wild animal photo shooter, games are galore. Be it the water front or the rustled hillock, you've got to adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience.

To photograph these beautiful beasts, is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. If you are looking for perspective, take a bus to the forest once in a while and you'll find a fresh one every time. Nature never goes out of style.
