Ultra Challenge- TITI Endurance Nature 2016

Ordinary men and women living a simple, ordinary life, day in day out. When they try to do the impossible,they fail but when they don't give up and take their failure as a challenge that is endurance nature.

Any hick or harry in his own surrounding, among his friends and peers; comfort and convinience, in his own sweet time can call the shots and be a winner. But the ultimate measure for a man is where he stands at the time of challenge and controversy.

As a writer, I took a journey to collect stories.It wasn't just about expressing my work, I wanted more than anything else to contribute in some way to the culture that I was living in. Malaysia apart from showcasing a tourist friendly country, it organises international Marathons.

Event:

The race has three categories: 200 KM, 100KM,50 KM. Its the toughest terrain, starts from a Malay village Hulu Langat Batu 14.A rain forrest jungle along the winding roads, streching towards two major hills, passes through a beautiful lake surrounded by Orangasli dwellings tugged besides the route.
Participation is open to adult men and women. To test one's endurance, qualification is that runners must have completed minimum 10 Kms road race.

Met a participant by the name Pan.The name was itself catchy, so I referred him to J. M. Barries Peter Pan;
"no 'am no Peter Pan, I am marathoner Pan!,  Tinkerbell and her magic is not for me, what I have is an ability to endure situationas and challenges, somewhat like Ovid's Sisyphus."

Titi 2016 50 kilometre Ultra Marathon finished in a record time. Clocked in at 12midnight, Sunday 20th, finished 9:15 am.

Motivation:  navigate through the road of life, meet other people, their ideas, culture.
