A corporate story called Religion
It is said religion unites people, culture, region, may be nations and political agendas.
The purpose of religion, as subtly expressed by Dalai Lama, is to control one self not to criticise others. A meaningful statement which gets used, overused, abused, underused by various strata of cults and groups to achieve their respective interests.
In a pragmatic world, like the modern one, religion is a means to get one's end. Some may say its a theory while other's may agree that religion is a method and practice. Few modern thinkers believe that religion is a date on a calendar which gives rest to people from their daily chores. Holidays always substantiate the spendings in tourism, travel, food etc.
The data seekers who always find things with measuring units.
Even abstract things like religion, empathy, love also to them would give grounds for measurements and datas which leads to read behaviour of people in general.
For example a fair estimate suggests there are about 4200 religions in the world.
Now multiply this with 365 days. If a nation with pluralistic society functions, how many actual working days would that country have?
Do the seeking...
Draft the communication message, calculate the site in which one is going to distribute the message, which becomes the medium, to get maximum exposure, so that likes and impressions can be measured. Groups with similar thinking may comment, suggest, share that could be interpreted as media agency. Highest comment getting the likes will be recruited as the seeker or be a leader to propagate that religion. Bingo, data does get the job done.
Recruitment and hires as propagators of religion also take place in a similar fashion. Talents and skills gets classified as
"agents that are - On the market; agents which are actually- in the market.
Religion develops with need. Layers get attached in the name of practices and rituals.
Soft skills; Strong skills.
Just like big corporate companies acquire smaller ones. Big banners have the ability and power to take over smaller groups. And like corporates that expand in other countries, learning their language, culture and then re-modify and redefine, similar act is in one's religion also, called as diversity.
The timeline mentions the various ages and trends which set religious transformations. In each age along with socio-economical structure, religion acquired a high position.
Religious leaders were sound teachers, who left remarkable impressions on their disciples, who in time became propagators and founders of all isms in the world.
But in todays time even the corporate are seeking the right balance and answers, so is religion.
