But before the director, says Roll; the frame composition plays a key part in visual story telling.

First and foremost, composition describes placement of relative objects and elements in a work of art.

A good composition is one that has just enough detail which guides the viewer’s eye towards the most important elements of your work, in a specific order.

Frame composition is to have the right balance. It is best to make sure all the elements present are necessary for the idea or story you are trying to pass on.

Similarly, while creating a Go-to-Market Plan, requires a structure in a specific order.

Now every marketing and communication requires a Go to market Plan for new activities in new and existing markets for product launch. Which in traditional term is called “Marketing and Communication-strategy”.

In communication we have to set up messages at different level that resonate, set up proper feedback loops for the target audience and also get the sales-force line ready with useful information to create and understand the internal and external marketing programs that engage the target group and leaves a residual impact.

In Photography or video composition focal length, aperture, angle at which you choose to position your camera relative to your subject greatly affects composition.

Simple shapes, tones, shadows, highlights, colors are all strong elements of composition.

For the most conducive Marketing strategy or GTM, the following are the steps:

1.     Product Strategy: Which helps define the message, pricing, promotions, cross promotions at a launch and sustaining the campaign.

2.     Channel Strategy: Which channels would be utilized to sell the product, educate and inform the target group and external partners.

3.     Market Strategy: It emphasizes on the awareness of the campaign and communication message to the internal group, specially the sales force who involve themselves with customers for product information with interest, purchase and support.

4.     Customer Experience: In this one has to anticipate the customers journey. This part details that journey from initial awareness, purchase, activation, new rule re-purchase and sometimes cancellation. Evaluating customer experience helps the product team to identify key areas and to move forward.

Just as choosing the right, balanced composition matters for your visual story telling similarly having a full-proof marketing plan does wonders to the campaign and the product launch in relevant markets.
