Perspective is Everything?
Prambanan Temple at Yogjakarta, Indonesia. A UNESCO world Heritage site, largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and one of the World's biggest in South East Asia. The 9th Century Hindu temple, is the symbol of TRIMURTI. Prambanan temple has a special significance because the three Gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva's temples are stretched in the 17 kms compound. The expression of God, in Hindu philosophy, prevalent since post Vedic period, The Creator, Brahma; the Preserver, Vishnu; The Destroyer, Shiva all of the three Gods/ Elements, make a complete circle of life. Who looks outside dreams; who links inside awakes
Is there at all or is there still a secret of the Veda? The heart of that ancient mystery has been plucked out and revealed to the gaze of all or rather no real secret existed. To get to the bottom of this secret, I packed my bags and took the journey to the remote Po Lin monastery in Hong Kong. The road to the top of the mountain though is rough and bumpy but the view and scenery around is spectacular. Witness the rare transition of lush forest ecosystem in just a few miles on the highest elevation road and that’s when you are bound to see the Tian Tan Buddha or the Big Buddha, thirty four meters majestic bronze Buddha draws every eye on him. Never Give Up, Great Things Take Time!
Stories of imagination tend to upset those without one. As I set along to pitch my story to various producers, directors and distributors, they had different requirements. Some asked for Stars, some the moon and some said "arre what's there in a name," "I'll buy the story and I may share the credit with you". I packed my bag and said thank you. I have stories, without Stars, without the Moon, but with real people who dare to dream and take the journey to achieve them. Like Hari and Shibu, taking a break from their weaving class,roaming in their half pants near kalna, a small village town in West bengal but they have dreams of studying in college some day. Kalna is accessible by train and road. Its some 81 kms from Howrah railway station.
